Throughout The Years

Found this in *Lukiih's journal and decided, just for myself (and maybe you xD) to compare drawings from the beginning with now: the quest of improvement I hope.

So, throughout the years, well, you can't say years, I mean, I've been here on dA since January 2006 - and now we have August 06 - so let's call it Throughout the Months

First row:
Here you can see my IDs or "self-portraits" throughout my time here on dA. Look for yourself!^^ I must say I am happy with the way it turned out and I'm glad I finally found the "right" style for me concerning coloring hair and skin and such, and I'm glad I no longer draw with markers, those sucked xDD

First pair:
Requests by ~Olivietta - in April 06 she caught my 1000th pageview and asked for a drawing of Frank Iero of MCR and herself, in August 06 she asked me to draw her character with Jack Sparrow - and look how it changed!!! I'm impressed xDDD
Second pair:
Amy Lee - how I drew her in March 06 and in August 06. Damn, she looked so ugly back then - drawn with crappy markers. I know why I love my FaberCastell xDD
Third pair:
Angelina Jolie - first my version of her in Mr. and Mrs. Smith (crappy crappy markers!!!) in February 06 and now, in August 06 with beautiful colored pencils ^^ I'm glad I got rid of that chibi-style... irgh, I really don't like that anymore!
Fourth pair:
A character of one of my fanfictions (Malice in Paradise), Alice M. - back then in February 06 - and later in June 06, her style changed - as did mine. I'm glad she looks like this now, suits the character much more, I think.
Fifth group:
A couple of males - damn, they looked sucky back then, right? Two from January 06 and the "newest" from July 06. I still have to improve with males - yet I think there is a step into the right direction ^^

Well, what can I say? Looking at old artworks always makes me want to draw more and better and I try my best.
I am glad I registered back then in January 2006 - in these 9 months I drew more than in any year before, I am really happy that dA could give me inspiration and motivation - I am also happy that I got to know so many other talented artists - and friends.
